Rochester

Our shop is on Weeger Street, so the city is the shortest drive we make. Rochester housing is old by American standards, and that shapes every quote we write here: plaster walls that crack along the lath lines, woodwork that has been painted a dozen times, and exteriors where the trim needs repair long before it needs color.

On pre-1978 houses we work clean, containing dust and debris rather than sanding into open air, and we prime bare or previously varnished woodwork so the new coat actually bonds. Where the wall has moved, we address the movement first. Filling a crack that's still opening only buys you a season.

We also handle a steady share of rental turnovers, doubles, and small commercial spaces around the city, where the real constraint is the calendar. Tell us the date the space has to be ready and we'll tell you honestly whether we can hit it.
